Smile Makeover in Mississauga
A smile makeover combines two or more cosmetic treatments — veneers, whitening, bonding, Invisalign, or crowns — into one coordinated plan built around how your teeth actually look together, not one tooth at a time.

A smile makeover is not a single procedure — it is a treatment plan. Most patients who ask about a full makeover have two or three things bothering them at once: some discolouration, a chipped edge, maybe a gap or slightly crowded front teeth. Treating each in isolation often looks disjointed. At Eglinton Oak Dental, Dr. Sahil Gagnani and our team design the plan around your whole smile first, then sequence the individual treatments — whitening, veneers, bonding, Invisalign, or crowns — so the end result looks like one smile, not a patchwork of separate fixes.
What It Fixes
Problems a smile makeover can address
Discolouration
Staining that professional whitening alone cannot fully correct, especially on older restorations.
Chips & Cracks
Minor damage from grinding, biting something hard, or an old injury.
Gaps & Spacing
Small spaces that bother patients cosmetically but do not need full orthodontics.
Uneven Teeth
Teeth that are shorter, longer, or shaped differently from their neighbours.
Missing Teeth
Gaps from missing teeth addressed with implants, bridges, or partial dentures as part of the plan.
Worn Edges
Front teeth worn down by years of grinding or acid erosion, restored with bonding or veneers.

How a smile makeover plan comes together
- Consultation and exam: photos, a bite check, and an honest conversation about what is actually bothering you
- Treatment sequencing: we decide what order things happen in — straightening usually comes before veneers, for example
- Whitening first (if included): so any veneers or bonding are shade-matched to your brightened natural teeth, not the other way around
- Restorative work: veneers, bonding, or crowns placed once the foundation (alignment, whitening) is settled
- Review and adjust: a follow-up to confirm bite and appearance before we call it finished
Simple two-treatment makeovers (e.g. whitening + bonding) can finish in a few visits. Cases involving Invisalign before veneers typically take 6–18 months overall.
What a smile makeover can combine
Not every makeover needs all four. Many patients only need whitening plus bonding on one or two teeth. We will tell you honestly which components your case actually needs — not upsell you the full list. For the straightening component specifically, see our guide on Invisalign vs. braces cost.

Investment
Smile makeover cost in Mississauga (2026)
Most patients do not need every component — your actual cost depends entirely on which treatments your case needs and how many teeth are involved. We give you an itemized, written quote at your consultation, and we will flag if your dental insurance or the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) applies to any restorative component (crowns, implants) — purely cosmetic work like whitening and veneers is not typically covered.
Smile makeover vs. a single treatment
If only one thing bothers you — just staining, or just one chipped tooth — you likely do not need a full makeover plan; a single treatment like teeth whitening or dental bonding solves it directly and costs less. A coordinated makeover plan makes more sense once two or more issues interact — for example, veneers placed before whitening will not match the newly whitened surrounding teeth, so the order and combination matters. This is exactly what the consultation is for: we tell you when a single treatment is enough.

Frequently asked questions: Smile makeover in Mississauga
How much does a full smile makeover cost?
It depends entirely on which treatments are included. A whitening-plus-bonding makeover might run $600–$1,800 total, while a full porcelain veneer makeover across 6–10 teeth typically runs $8,000 to $18,000. We give a written itemized quote after your consultation.
What treatments count as a “smile makeover”?
Any combination of teeth whitening, dental bonding, veneers, Invisalign, crowns, or implants, planned together rather than done separately. Most patients combine two or three, not all of them.
Is a smile makeover covered by insurance?
Purely cosmetic components (whitening, veneers for appearance, bonding for cosmetic reasons) are generally not covered. Restorative components like crowns or implants may be covered under your plan or the CDCP — we check this for you at the consultation.
How long does a smile makeover take?
A simple whitening-and-bonding plan can finish in two or three visits over a few weeks. Plans that include Invisalign before veneers typically take 6 to 18 months overall, since the teeth need to be straightened first.
Do I need Invisalign before veneers?
Only if your teeth are noticeably crowded or misaligned. If your teeth are reasonably straight, veneers or bonding alone can address shape, colour, and minor chips without orthodontics first.
Will my smile makeover look natural?
That is the goal of planning it as one project instead of separate treatments — shade, shape, and proportions are matched across every tooth involved, including the ones we are not touching.
