A standard panoramic X-ray is enough for most cases; for more complex impactions, or when a tooth’s roots sit close to the lower jaw nerve, we can arrange 3D (CBCT) imaging so nothing is left to guesswork.

The rare, most complex cases are still referred to an oral and maxillofacial surgeon when that is genuinely the safer path, and we will always tell you honestly if yours is one of them.
